Carole Mason
- Biographical Information
Carole Mason began her teaching career as a middle school choir director and general fine arts teacher in San Antonio and later in Spring, Texas. She was an elementary music specialist in Klein ISD for 12 years earning the Campus Teacher of the Year award in 2005. Carole moved from the classroom to school administration and has served as an assistant principal and principal for 12 years. In 2015, she opened a new elementary campus that is designated as a fine arts integrated campus. While piloting this program for the district, she was awarded a $25,000 grant from the Klein Education Foundation. She has been successful in establishing numerous community partnerships including The Alley Theatre and The Houston Ballet. Carole earned her Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Texas and Masters of Education Administration from The University of St. Thomas. Carole resides in Houston with her husband and son.
