Clinic Synopsis:

There is no such thing as a perfect year. Whether you're a first year teacher learning the ropes or a veteran teacher, we all face tough times. This clinic will cover establishing the tools to maintain work-life balance, your sanity, and your program from the perspective of a cancer survivor.

Jessica Thomas - Biographical Information

Jessica Thomas currently serves as a band director at East Paulding Middle School in the Paulding County School District in Dallas, Georgia. She received her Bachelor's degree in Music Education in 2009 and her Master’s Degree in Instrumental Conducting in 2011 from Georgia Southern University. Mrs. Thomas is a native of Richmond Hill, GA. Her professional affiliations include the Georgia Music Educators Association and the National Association for Music Education. She is also a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society and an alumni of the Eta Xi Chapter of Tau Beta Sigma. She performs as a member of the Cobb Wind Symphony, serving in the clarinet section. Music is an integral part of Mrs. Thomas' family. Her husband also works as a band director at East Paulding High School in Dallas, GA. When not teaching, they enjoy spending time outdoors with their dogs, Bailey and Buddy.
