Information for New Exhibitors

It is a pleasure to invite members of the industry serving music educators to
exhibit at The Midwest Clinic: An International Band and Orchestra Conference.
Midwest exhibitors join a tradition created over sixty years ago, an event
invigorated by its recent move to the country’s preeminent meeting facility:
Chicago’s McCormick Place West.

Exhibitors at the 66th Annual Midwest Clinic (December 19-22, 2012) have an
unparalleled opportunity to meet with the over 15,000 people who arrive at the
conference every year actively seeking the latest products, information and
trends. Midwest attendees include music educators working in school, university,
and private settings, students, administrators, composers, professional musicians,
and industry representatives. The conference offers them over 30 concerts, 80 or
more clinics, and a spectacular exhibit hall.

The exhibit hall is located in the middle of the action, with doors opening directly
on to the registration area and the two largest ballrooms. The hall includes the
Overlook Café (offering a view of the entire show floor), food kiosks, and seating
areas, encouraging attendees to linger and plan their route through the displays.
We’re pleased to report that recent changes in McCormick Place policy make
exhibiting in this magnificent hall more affordable than it has been in the past.
To learn more about the new policies, please visit McCormick Place News.

As an exhibitor, your presence in The Midwest Clinic community begins to grow
long before the conference, when your company’s name and URL are added to
our popular website. You will also be listed in the keepsake Program Book, and
given several opportunities to reach attendees throughout the year.

Please explore this information packet to find all the information you will need to
get started at Midwest: an exhibitor application and contract, specifications and
terms, the preliminary hall layout, and offers designed to increase your booth
traffic.

Again, thank you for your support of The Midwest Clinic. We hope to work with
you so that together, we can give thousands of active and engaged music
educators their most rewarding Midwest experience to date. Please feel free to
contact us if we can be of assistance.
