Google Calendar Instructions

The Midwest Clinic has created a Google calendar that contains the 2009 conference schedule. You can now add the calendar to your Google account to use on your computer or mobile device and set reminders for the events that you would like to attend. Follow the instructions below to start using the 2009 Midwest Clinic Google calendar today! Add the 2009 Midwest Clinic Calendar to existing Google Account 1. Log in to your Google account 2. Go to the calendar page and click Add under the Other Calendars area on the left side of the screen. 3. Choose Add a Friend’s Calendar and enter info@midwestclinic.org for the Contact Email. 4. The 2009 Midwest Clinic calendar should now appear in the Other Calendars area and the events should now be added to your Google calendar. Set up a Google Account and Add the 2009 Midwest Clinic Calendar 1. Go to www. google.com and click the Sign In link in the top right corner of the screen. 2. Click the Create an account now link. 3. Complete the registration and verification process. 4. Sign in to your Google account and then click the more link at the top of the page and choose Calendar. 5. Click Add under the Other Calendars area on the left side of the screen. 6. Choose Add a Friend’s Calendar and enter info@midwestclinic.org for the Contact Email. 7. The 2009 Midwest Clinic calendar should now appear in the Other Calendars area and the events should now be added to your Google calendar. Tips For Using the 2009 Midwest Clinic Google Calendar 1. Once you have added The Midwest Clinic Google calendar, use the Search My Calendars text search when you are logged into your Google account and looking at the calendar. This will help you find clinics and concerts easily without having to page through the days’ events. 2. Set up a reminder for an event that you would like to attend by clicking on the event’s name and then clicking the Add a reminder link. 3. You may access the 2009 Midwest Clinic calendar without logging into your Google account by going to www.midwestclinic.org/google/ in your web browser. We recommend bookmarking this address if you plan to return to it in the future. 4. When viewing the calendar, click the Agenda tab at the top of the calendar to view the days agendas in an easy to use format. The schedule of events is subject to change.   Top of page
