Performer Details

Performer Bio Synopsis

The Oklahoma State Saxophone Octet is comprised of saxophonists eager to broaden the repertoire of the saxophone ensemble through performing, arranging, and commissioning new works. Performances by the ensemble look to the past for established excellence, as well as to the new, adventurous minds of this generation's composers. As a student led ensemble, the OSU Saxophone Octet believes that the greatest depth of learning stems from focused, self-guided collaborations. This ensemble is grateful to receive direction from, and often perform alongside, members of the critically acclaimed h2 Quartet. The ensemble receives guidance from Dr. Jeffrey Loeffert and Kaylee Christensen.
