The Power of Small: Achieving Big Results in Your Small School Band Program

Clinic Synopsis:

The team of directors, administrators, and students from Bridge City High School have collaborated to develop a highly successful, student-centered band program that has grown exponentially in size and success. In this interactive session, the Bridge City Wind Ensemble and their director will demonstrate how it is possible to perform at a very high level even in a small school district. They will speak candidly about how they have fostered a culture of success, how their procedures and processes inspire student-driven results, how to juggle the daily responsibilities of a small school director, and how they cultivate positive community and district relationships.
