Meet T.j. Anderson

T.j. Anderson is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Wind Conducting at The University of Texas at Austin where he is a student of Professor Jerry Junkin and serves as a graduate teaching assistant to the UT Bands. Prior to his time at UT, he received his Master's Degree in Instrumental Conducting at Appalachian State University. There he served as a graduate teaching assistant to the Appalachian Bands and studied with Dr. John Stanley Ross and Dr. Jason Gardner. A native of Conway, South Carolina, T.j. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Coastal Carolina University where he studied percussion with Dr. Jesse Willis. He also spent time studying conducting with mentors including Dr. T. André Feagin, Mr. Garrett Griffin, and Dr. Timothy Koch.
