Congratulations on being selected to perform at the 80th Midwest Clinic. Over the next nine months, you will receive a series of memos outlining important information and deadlines to help you prepare for your performance.
This memo introduces several key resources and upcoming responsibilities, including the Performer Intranet, Performer Handbook, your Board Liaison, hotel information, and upcoming deadlines.
Performer Intranet
The Performer Intranet will be your primary resource for all information related to your performance. Through the site, you will access important materials such as the music reservation system, equipment requests, and other planning resources. To access the Performer Intranet:
- Visit www.midwestclinic.org
- Click Account Login at the bottom of the menu.
- Use the same username and password you used for your performer application
If you have forgotten your password, please use the “Need Help?” link to reset it.
Performer Handbook
The PERFORMER HANDBOOK contains detailed information to guide you through the planning process. You can access it through the Documents tab in the Performer Intranet.
Please review the CALENDAR SECTION carefully, as it outlines all key activities and deadlines throughout the year.
Board Liaison
Each ensemble has been assigned a Board Liaison who will assist with repertoire selection and other performance details. Your liaison will contact you soon and will serve as your primary point of contact for programming questions.
Programming Introductory Zoom Meeting
Programming for Midwest has unique requirements, and we strongly encourage all directors to attend the introductory programming meeting.

June 6 Directors Meeting (Required)
All performing ensembles (except International Groups) must send a representative to the Directors Meeting at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago.

Most directors arrive Friday, June 5. A hotel block has been secured, and reservations can be made through the provided link.
HOTEL RSVP FOR JUNE MEETING
Please complete the RSVP FORM by Friday, May 29 so we can prepare name badges and meeting logistics.
If you are flying to Chicago in June and/or December, you are eligible to take advantage of our UNITED AIRLINES PARTNERSHIP DISCOUNT. They have special rates for individuals and groups.
December Hotel Reservations
All performing ensembles are required to stay in an official conference hotel block. If you are working with a travel company, please ensure they are aware of this requirement.

Please log into the PERFORMER INTRANET and confirm that the following information is correct:
- Ensemble Name
- Ensemble Address
- Directors’ Names and Emails
- Conductor and Ensemble Bio
This information can be found under the General Info link on the right side of the screen. To make edits, click on the "Edit Information" button. You can make updates to this information until Friday, September 18.
If the ensemble name needs to be updated, please email me directly.
You will receive the next memo on April 29, which will outline the music reservation process.
