Meet Nicoletta Moss

Nicoletta Moss is a Greek-American conductor known for bringing a passionate presence, commitment to inclusivity, and support of lifelong musicianship both on and off the podium. At the University of Kentucky, Nicoletta serves as the conductor of the UK Philharmonia and New Horizons Band & Orchestra and assistant conductor of the UK Symphony Orchestra. Launched in 2025, Nicoletta also leads the UK Medical Orchestra in the College of Medicine, a new initiative for medical students, university faculty and staff, and health professionals in the Lexington community. After receiving a conducting fellowship to attend the Wintergreen Music Festival in 2025, Nicoletta recently joined the staff and leadership team as Assistant Conductor & Chair of Education. Nicoletta has been invited to conduct orchestras across the country and internationally, including the Omaha Symphony, Denver Philharmonic, Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, Cascade Conducting Orchestra, and musicians from the Atlanta Symphony.
