Meet William Mufarreh

William Mufarreh is in his 5th year teaching and currently works as Director of Bands in the Clio Area School District in Clio, Michigan. William conducts the Clio High School Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band, as well as directs the 6th-8th grade bands at Clio Middle School. William is also the director of the Mustang Marching Band and instructs the Pep Band at Jazz Band at CHS. William graduated Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Music Education where he studied clarinet under Professor Sandra Jackson. Outside of school, William currently performs with the Genesee Wind Symphony, a community band made up primarily of band directors and collegiate musicians from the Flint Metro area. William has performed with numerous ensembles during his studies at Eastern Michigan University, including the EMU Marching Band, Symphony Orchestra, and Wind Symphony. William also spent the summer of 2015 performing and traveling with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. William was the 2022 recipient of the John and Mary Virginia Foncannon Conducting/Coaching Scholarship awarded through the Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation for the continued study of conducting.
