Meet Brian Taylor

Brian Taylor is currently pursuing a doctorate in wind conducting at Michigan State University with Dr. Kevin Sedatole. At MSU he routinely conducts the Wind Symphony, Symphony Band, Concert Band, Chamber Winds, and Campus Band, as well as Spartan Marching Band and Spartan Brass. Additionally, Taylor enjoys the opportunity to teach undergraduate conducting lessons, Conducting for Performance Majors, and assist with Marching Band Methods and Conducting for Education Majors. After teaching middle and high school band in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for four years Taylor earned his MM in Wind Conducting at Michigan State in 2021. Taylor received his BM and BA from the University of Texas where he studied under Jerry Junkin, Bob Duke, and Ray Sasaki.
