Performer Bio Synopsis

The Center Woodwind Quintet is the graduate fellowship woodwind quintet at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. The current edition of the ensemble was formed in the fall of 2024 and is coached by Dr. Darrel Hale. Competition appearances this academic year include the Coltman Competition and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Members hold degrees from Boston University, Eastman School of Music, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Michigan, and University of Northern Colorado. Outside of their studies at UNT, all members actively teach and play throughout the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
