Performer Bio Synopsis

Founded in 1983 in conjunction with the opening of our school, our band operates under the steadfast motto of "Balancing Academic Excellence with Extracurricular Activities." Our performance calendar is diverse, centered around our Annual Concert and Christmas Charity Concert, and extends to outreach performances at kindergartens, local schools, and various community events. Our dedication to musical excellence has led us to five appearances at the All-Japan Band Competition and one appearance at the All-Japan Marching Contest. We also place a strong emphasis on international exchange through wind music. Over the years, we have built meaningful connections with prestigious institutions worldwide, including Carthage College (USA), Royal St. George's College (Canada), Taipei Municipal Da-An Junior High School (Taiwan), St. Olaf College (USA), and The Ohio State University Wind Symphony (USA). Most recently, in April 2024, we were invited by the city of Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, where we held a successful international concert. Under the musical goal of "creating moving music born from a beautiful sound," our mission is to foster individuals who contribute to a peaceful society through the power of wind music. Ultimately, we strive to enrich our community and the world through the pursuit of music and the arts.
