  • Cellist Constance E. Barrett has been called a "musician of rare sensitivity" with a "hauntingly beautiful" sound by the press. Combining her love of Western Classical music with improvisation, she has performed with some of the greatest musicians in America and Europe, including members of the Cavani String Quartet, Glen Velez, Lori Cotler, and David Darling. Barrett has taught at chamber music workshops, Suzuki Institutes and teacher in-service days throughout the country, including for VH1-Save the Music. Based in New York, she holds degrees from Baldwin-Wallace College, Notre Dame, and the D.M.A. from Ohio State. Barrett is a Yamaha Certified String Educator.
