Shining a Light on Urban Music Education

Clinic Synopsis:

Music Makes Us is a unique public/private partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools, Mayor Megan Barry, and the Nashville music community providing meaningful support for music in our schools. Our goals are to eliminate barriers to music education, increase student participation, and enhance the quality of music education for ALL Metro Nashville Public School students. The session will engage attendees around opportunities and advocacy for instrumental music education in an urban educational environment. The session is presented as part of Conn Selmer's Music Administrator Collaborative.
