  • This session is designed to share tips and tricks for those music teachers who find themselves entering the "pits" of musical theater (conducting the orchestra). Join us for discussion of how to address your students' musical and non-musical needs to insure a positive experience for all involved in your production.

In addition to the daily adventure of teaching middle and high school band, she has had the pleasure of conducting student pit orchestras for the annual school musical each of those years. Prior to her position at Lourdes Academy, Michelle taught middle school band and adaptive music for eight years at the middle school and high school level in the Oshkosh public school system. She currently lives in Neenah, WI with her husband and daughter.
