Clinic Synopsis:

My clinic will focus on simple steps for band directors to help create better balance and blend in Concert Band settings with Keyboard Percussion Instruments such as the xylophone, glockenspiel, marimba and chimes. Aspects of the lecture/demonstration will be focused on the fundamentals of playing these instruments, location within concert set ups and mallet choices. Emphasis will be placed on listening within the ensemble, score preparation and general ensemble techniques.
