Product Showcase: Performance Breathing for Your Band Using the Individual Breathing Assistant

Clinic Synopsis:

The IBA is one of the most innovative performance breathing development devices currently being used across the country. This session will focus on developing perfect breathing techniques for all students, from beginner to advanced. Learn how you can revolutionize your breathing instruction. Bill Rose, Co-developer and national spokesperson for the LungTrainer and Dr. Chip Crotts, Blue Devils P.A, will guide the discussion and demonstration. Each participant will receive an IBA.B

Bill Rose - Biographical Information

Bill Rose is the COO and co-developer of the LungTrainer Breathing Performances Devices company. LungTrainers are now being used by thousands of students in and outside of the United States. His current book, Methods for the LungTrainer, has received outstanding reviews. Bill began his career as a music teacher, developing award winning bands, choruses, and orchestras. Bill spent 15 years as a school administrator.

Chip Crotts - Biographical Information

Dr. Chip Crotts serves as Director of Jazz Studies and Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. A GRAMMY- nominated trumpet artist, Chip has performed for the Disney Company worldwide and has recorded and performed with artists such as Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, Manhattan Transfer, Zac Brown Band, Frankie Valli and Maynard Ferguson, among others. Active in the Marching Arts, Dr. Crotts serves as Brass Caption Head for the 21-time World Champion, Blue Devils and as an adjudicator for organizations such as BOA, DCI, WGI, Drum Corps Japan, Taiwan Marching Academy and numerous state and national music associations. He is a past fellowship recipient from Aspen Music Festival, Music at Banff Center and the National Endowment for the Arts. Dr. Chip Crotts is a Conn Selmer Educational Clinician and Bach Trumpet Performing Artist
