Lesley Moffat - Biographical Information

With over 35 years in music education, Lesley Moffat is an accomplished educator, author, and speaker. Teaching in the Pacific Northwest, her ensembles have performed internationally, gracing prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and Disney parks. Her own health journey inspired her bestselling books, I Love My Job but It's Killing Me and Love the Job, Lose the Stress, which laid the foundation for her mPower Method. Inducted into the WMEA Hall of Fame, Lesley is committed to helping music educators improve wellness and productivity. She shares her expertise through keynotes, podcasts, and coaching, offering practical solutions for achieving work-life balance in a demanding profession. Most recently, she has been named the conductor of the 2025 Washington Jr. All-State Honor Band.
