With over twenty years of impassioned service as a K-12 educator, program leader, educational administrator, and system-level executive, Dr. Linley brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the clients and partners at Cadenza Strategy Group. Prior to his work at CSG, Tim served as the Executive Director of Academic Enrichment for the Dallas Independent School District where he provided leadership and support to enrichment programs and content areas serving over 160,000 students in the nation’s 14th largest school district. The programs under his direction experienced unprecedented growth under his watch, demonstrating marked gains in both student engagement and performance. Tim’s original calling in life was to change the lives of students through music. As Fine Arts Coordinator/Director of Bands in Richardson, TX and Director of Bands in Frisco, TX, his bands were perennial UIL Sweepstakes Award winners. His experience leading groups to both the State Marching Contest and as Texas State Honor Band Runner-Up empowers him to support band directors and programs across the country as a clinician, guest conductor, and program strategist. Tim was proud to serve as a member of Music For All’s I-65 Corridor project, seeking to provide the best possible music education to urban students across the country. He is a a member of both Phi Mu Alpha and Phi Beta Mu International Honor Fraternity.
