Vince Kenney
- Biographical Information
Dr. Vince Kenney currently serves as Director of Bands and Associate Professor of Low Brass at Drake University in Des Moines, IA, where he is the conductor of the Drake Wind Symphony, and director of low brass studies.
Dr. Kenney has been invited to present guest artist recitals, clinics, and lectures, at dozens of the finest universities and music conferences throughout the United States, including the Texas Music Educators Association Conference, the United States Army Band Tuba/Euphonium Workshop, the International Tuba/Euphonium Conference, the Iowa Bandmasters Association, the Eastman School of Music, and many others. He is a contributing author to the Teaching Music Through Performance in Band Series published by GIA, and is the owner of VOCE Custom Recording, a group that specializes in educational and professional recording projects for wind bands of all levels.
Vince is a member of the College Band Directors National Association, The Iowa Bandmasters Association, and the International Tuba Euphonium Association. He received undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Performance from the University of Illinois, and Masters and Doctoral degrees in Euphonium Performance from the University of North Texas, under the tutelage of Dr. Brian Bowman.
Bradley Genevro - Biographical Information
Dr. Bradley Genevro serves as the Director of Bands, Professor of Conducting, and Associate
Director of the Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University, where he orchestrates
and directs all facets of their acclaimed band program.
Prior to his pivotal role at OSU, Dr. Genevro cultivated a distinguished academic career, holding
faculty appointments at the University of Texas at El Paso, Messiah University, and the
University of North Texas. Under his expert baton, ensembles have delivered compelling
performances at myriad state, national, and international conventions. His recorded works,
available through Mark Custom and Klavier Record labels, have garnered critical acclaim,
with Fanfare Magazine lauding them as "a superb disc" and "a magnificent statement of the
highest professionalism possible from ensembles."
Dr. Genevro's extensive expertise is sought globally. He maintains a robust international
schedule as a highly respected clinician, adjudicator, guest conductor, and recording producer,
with engagements extending across the United States, Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, and
mainland China. His prowess as a recording producer is evident in collaborations with esteemed
groups such as the University of North Texas Wind Symphony, the United States Air Force
Band, the Keystone Wind Ensemble, the UNLV Wind Orchestra, and the Sydney Conservatorium
Wind Symphony, as well as a multitude of others.
A testament to his profound influence and standing in music education, Dr. Genevro holds
memberships in a comprehensive array of professional organizations, including the Oklahoma
Music Educators Association, Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, Texas Bandmasters
Association, National Association for Music Education, Phi Beta Mu, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Pi
Kappa Lambda, Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma, and the College Band Directors National
Association. His exceptional contributions culminated in his election to the esteemed American
Bandmasters Association.
Jacquelyn Meunier - Biographical Information
Jacquelyn Meunier is in her twenty-seventh year at Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, where she conducts the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Show Choir Band; and is co-director of the Marching Rams and SEP Pep Band. During her tenure, the Wind Ensemble has performed as the class 4a featured ensemble and a clinic ensemble at the Iowa Bandmasters Association State Conference on numerous occasions. The Wind Ensemble was invited to perform, on two different occasions, as a featured ensemble at the Western Illinois University Showcase of Bands. Meunier’s ensembles have received numerous awards and recognitions, including “Best Of Class” at the Adventureland Festival of Bands and “superior” ratings at the IHSMA State Large Group and Marching contests. During the fall semesters of 2023 and 2024, Meunier also served as the conductor of the Drake University Symphonic Band. Meunier is in demand as a guest conductor and clinician for university and high school honor festivals throughout the midwest. She has appeared as a clinician at several band conferences and often serves as a guest clinician for high school band programs. Meunier holds memberships with the Iowa Bandmasters Association, Iowa Association of Arts Educators, and the South Central Iowa Bandmasters Association. She is past-president of the Iowa Bandmasters Association and the South Central Iowa Bandmasters Association, and has served as chair for numerous IBA committees. Meunier is also co-founder of the Guy Blair All-Iowa Concert Band Festival. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Iowa State University.
