- Biographical Information
Albert Vela III has participated and explored many facets of music education throughout his 17-year career. He is currently the Director of Bands at Magnolia High School in Magnolia, TX. Prior to Magnolia HS, Albert served 15 years as an Assistant Director at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, TX, where he conducted the Symphonic Band and led the War Eagle Marching Band. In 2022, the Oak Ridge High Brass Ensemble was an invited ensemble at The Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, IL. Always exploring new experiences in music performance, Albert is a brass instructor for the 21-time DCI World Champion Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps. He also serves musicians and teachers as the Curriculum and Media Specialist for the TonalEnergy App, and is a sought-after presenter for all levels of music education. Albert is all about helping musicians of all levels learn and grow throughout their music journey.
