Programming Your Jazz Band Application Demo Repertoire for the (Inter)National Stage

Clinic Synopsis:

What are review committees looking for when your jazz ensemble submits its recorded demo? I'll share the charts and styles that have led to success for a variety of middle/high/college jazz directors when applying to perform at The Midwest Clinic, the Jazz Education Network, and other major conferences.

Heath Wolf - Biographical Information

Heath Wolf retired from music education after 32 years of service to Davis School District and the community. His ensembles received wide acclaim, including performance invitations to The Midwest Clinic, The Music For All National Concert Band Festival, The Sandy Feldstein Percussion Festival, and the Utah Music Educators Conference. His program was awarded the Sudler Cup, The National Blue-Ribbon Award from the National Band Association, and several Downbeat Jazz awards. Heath is an active clinician/guest conductor across the country, and he composes music for percussion ensembles. Heath looks forward to working with directors via instructional clinics, equipment needs, recruiting/retention events, and repair assistance.
