This clinic will feature selections from "Musical Connections for Marimba and Snare Drum" by Mark Ford and Friends–a method book for intermediate snare drum and marimba duets (Musicon Publications). Musical Connections is a collection of short snare drum/marimba duos. This portion of the clinic is designed to offer more musical choices for student percussionists and their teachers. The main goal of the text is to bring intermediate-level students together in the practice room to make music. Mark will be assisted by Percussion Professor, Dr. Eric Willie, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
