Matt Martindale is the sole Director of Bands at Columbiana Middle School and Shelby County High School in rural Alabama. Under their leadership, this small-school program has achieved more than 100% enrollment growth, consistent superior performance ratings, national performances, and over $150,000 in secured funding. A National Board Certified Educator, Yamaha 40 Under Forty educator, a multiple-year Grammy Music Educator Award Quarterfinalist, and Music For All Advocacy in Action Award Winner, Matt Martindale is committed to equitable access, data-driven advocacy, and sustainable music program growth in underserved communities.
